Good, I'm really liking the Porsche support in iRacing.
But as someone who dislikes figuring out setups, I wish they wouldn't purposely make a bad baseline setup though. The clubsport was undrivable fast with their baseline, and 2 minor changes and it drove like a different car. I can't imagine how many people forgo driving cars in that game because it drives like crap out of the box.

Yeah, some of the initial default setups are not optimal. But most are pretty good and they have all come good, eventually.
Most of the improvement from the initial 718 GT4 CS release has been in the constantly improving tire model, but also in subsequent updates to the car.
The modeling. Has been good enough to correlate to the actual car data. I overlay IRacing with IRL (in real life) data frequently. It works and is a good tool. Will be awesome for the 992 GT3 Cup efforts.

Really excited to see how this new cup compares to the old cup. Oh, and regarding setups learning how to setup the cups in iracing is pretty straightforward - not a ton of options as compared to a gtlm car. And if you really don't want to do any setup (ill advised in my opinion) grab a subscription to Craig's setup shop or VRS. The latter is really good beyond setups including track walks and of course telemetry collection.
