If you think this is something you are going to get into more I'd buy a roux helmet. They aren't too expensive and have coms built into them. It really beats trying to shove the headset up into your helmet all the time (which for me, can get pretty uncomfortable). There are also many different adapters so if your instructor has a chatterbox, tracom, speedcom, whatever, you'll always be able to communicate. Just my $.02, based on my first full year of DE-ing.
