Plus you can drive it to the track with your tires in the back AND it can tow your open trailer with your golf cart. I see a new recommendation next time a ‘what track car should I buy’ thread pops up.

I started tracking with a 2015 GT3. It was the car I wanted at the time and the one I had when I got into tracking. While I think GT3s are really cool, incredible machines, I feel I would have grown more tracking something a little more analog and with less power. In the last year, I've mostly tracked an S2000. I just sold the GT3 for a B1 car.

One of my neighbors at our NC property is Mike Skinner. He passed me on track at a Chin event in his 1000hp pickup and that thing didn’t seem to handle like a brick. He was doing 2:12 laps he told me. He also told me some insane number for his speed on back straight, and that he had to put metal braces on windshield to maintain integrity at those speeds. I want to say he told me 200 mph, but it’s been a while so I could be wrong on the exact number.
