Mac where were you?

There were a few D stock cars; a couple 964's, a 993 and a 930.

Uhhhh, not really. Unless you think they will let you run the 944.

I think a set of tires for a GT3RS is about 4K/set.

50K will let you by one set for each race.
I think you need more than one set for that first race of the year.

Next you need food, uniforms, accommodations and entry fees.
You can't expect the crew to work for free. Most races you get there on Tuesday or Wednesday for a Saturday Race.

Then you will probably need a rebuild of the motor during the season. You certainly will have the shocks rebuilt for each track. New springs. Brakes...
Ohhh, maybe we can put some fuel in it too.

One more thing (at least) would be having the tranny geared for each track.

Oh, don't forget insurance. In Grand-Am there is no 13/13 and they will punt you a$$ right off the track.

And if we are really good; There is a seasons worth of money to go run at Lemans!!!

Don't get me wrong, If I could swing it job wise I'd drive the truck, cook the food, wipe the prima-donna drivers a$$e$ and help fuel the car.

I do have some ideas for funding. If we can come up with a car and the required spares I'll share my ideas.

I don't remember passing 15 people in the race but if they say I did, I'll play along.

Of all things, at last I go fater than the cheatin heli pad, we don't get trophys, we don't get money, we don't get hot chicks hangin off us for pictures....well maybe you guys don't; all we get is a single line on the PCA web site saying what place we finished and they get it wrong.
(Looking down , shaking head) Like Charlie Brown.
