I used Harry’s, an external GPS, Bluetooth OBDII port and a Go Pro for a year before I upgraded to an Aim Solo + Smarty Cam solution. The Harry’s + Stuff set up worked really well for basic lap timing and video and if I was only doing a few track days per year and just wanted some cool videos and basic data I would have stuck with it. Once I started doing 5+ weekends each year it just got to be a lot of moving parts and the simplicity of AiM and the better data and analysis tools really made a difference. If you just want some basic data/times and video, Harry’s is great but if you want to really
dive into your data or spend zero time worrying about your data collection tools then there are a number of better solutions out there.
