Advanced Circuit Driving Techniques
After a few years off from the track, I've been going back and re-reading some books and this one stands out as my favorite, again. It is obviously written with a Racelogic slant, but all of these concepts can be applied to my driving at some level, regardless if I even have a data system to use. Because it's a series of articles on the practical application of techniques, I find it a lot easier to read than some of the theory-heavy books (in other words, it has lots of pictures).

Thanks! When I was finally selling my last pcar, ferrante's 996TT, I ended up taking an '05 Boxster S in on trade. After doing pads, fluids, and tires, I took it to Hallett for a weekend last fall and absolutely fell in love. And after 2.5 years of #daveramsey, this time I'll stick to one car and pay as I go. Same addiction, with just a few extra boundaries.

Nothing wrong with that Slakker! Boundaries, are just keeping you between the lines. I adjusted mine too, and picked up a Miata for track use. Learning leaped forward once the “boundary” of financial ruin became more manageable. A buddy up here has been running a 986 Boxster with a 3.2 Carrera motor, now just dropped a 3.8 Carrera motor (from a fire car) in a ’06 Cayman. Those things handle like their on rails.
