Default PASM at the track

A question for all you who use PASM at the track with a 9X1 - how much difference does it make?

I had a 987.2S with PASM and it was a night and day kind of difference. On the two occasions where I went out without turning PASM on, I thought the car was broke and was preparing to pit after the first lap before remembering PASM was off.

But in my 981S, there is no perceptible difference, either at the track or on the street. I normally run in the red group at HPDE and my times are the same on or off. I bought a DSC controller and it also makes no difference. The Porsche dealer says all the electronics check out and there's nothing they can do. But they agreed, they too could not tell the difference on or off. And they tried another car in inventory and it was the same.

I'd like to hear others experience with PASM

Thanks,
Bern
