Going for my medical clearance Monday afternoon then sending everything in along with a blessing from one of our CI’s so hope to have the racing license by the LRP race.
I am thinking SPB to start with, but we’ll see.
Wife isn’t crazy about me racing so that’s another hurdle to clear.
I’m thinking a long (long!!) weekend in Paris might sway her once the COVID thing dies down. See how expensive racing already is, and I haven’t even bought a car yet.

Unfortunately, might be quite a while for Paris .....LONG time ago I thought about racing and talked to people about the cost--the general consensus was that whatever you're spending now, triple it. That killed that urge right away! Plus I'd have to get a trailer, to which I'm acutely allergic

Presumably you're thinking of Paris France not Paris Kentucky. Don't make that mistake.....

I am looking forward to my schedule:

April 2-3-4: Thunderhill Raceway DE and Club Race (3 mile) - GGR
May 22-23: Buttonwillow Raceway DE and Club Race (CCCR will host its DE on Friday, May 21) - GGR
June 12-13: Utah Motorsports Campus
July 3-4: Sonoma Raceway DE and Club Race (the first GGR hosted weekend at Sonoma since 2008)
August 28-29: Sonoma Raceway Club Race only (with NASA) - GGR
September 25-26: Thunderhill DE and Club Race (3 mile) (Diablo Region will host its DE on Friday, September 24) - GGR
October 9-10: Sonoma Raceway Club Race only (with NASA) - GGR

PCA GGR is putting on 6 Club races in 2021! I don’t recall which PCA region is putting on the Utah race but I am looking forward to it!

WGI...4x/season.
2 regular DE’s and 2 advanced DE’s
You will never get more track time anywhere than at a Niagara advanced DE. Basically 8 hours open track for 2 straight days.
As an aside, whether a student or an advanced driver, Niagara runs the best and safest DE’s anywhere, at least from my experience.
Great region to run with. One of (if not THE) best regions for DE hands down.
