Advice on alignment specs Cayman
I am doing about 5-6 track weekends a year running B class, this is my 3rd year of track events, now that I have been getting a little faster the outer edge of my tires has been wearing worse than any other part of the tire, the front tires are worse than the rears, I street drive my car 2-3 days a week maybe 5,000 miles a year max, I am thinking of getting R71 or R-S4 tires on factory 18inch wheels, I will use a different set of wheels and tires for daily driving, I know a couple of people at the track loosen the 3 bolts at the top of the front strut and max it out to the inside on the track, I am still going to stay all stock on my suspension for now, any suggestion on possibly changing alignment to help wear, and still work for street driving, I am also thinking of flipping tire on rim after a couple of events, still really new at all of this

Take it to your favorite Porsche specialist and tell them you want a full track alignment. But if you want to keep stock suspension then it's not going to give you much. You can push in the top of the struts a tiny bit and max out camber in the front but that's about all your going to get on a stock Cayman suspension without going to camber plates, GT3 lower control arms, and other fun stuff. You can do two other things before that: 1: spacers to give you a slightly wider track, and 2: wider-than-stock track wheels/tires to give you more rubber on track. You can go pretty quick with those and stock suspension—it's what I've had for the last couple of years and I put down respectable times with it—but it's not going to have racecar dynamics.
So you have the decision of going through more tires per year or taking the plunge and putting LCAs on and getting a little rougher ride when you're daily driving.

From what you plan on doing, I would at least upgrade the lower control arms in the front. Adjustable LCA are a cheap easy upgrade, it's really not much to do, and will allow you to get the camber you need to preserve the tires. It will pay for itself by the second set.

This is a baseline setup for a tracked 987.1 (on DOT slicks - currently run Hankook Z214's):
Front camber -3.2
Rear camber -2.7
Front toe 0
Rear toe -2mm each side
Rake + 0.3 deg measured on central tunnel or rocker
You cannot get anywhere near that much camber with stock suspension, but this should give you an idea of how much camber these cars want. Also, since you daily drive the car, you don't want that much camber on the street. Basically, you need to decide where you want to compromise.

I thank everyone for the advice, looks like get a minimum adjustable LCA's in the spring, I am getting more and more addicted, I have 2 - 3 day events left for the year, running with the advanced group has really changed my braking, I just switched to a better brake pad, the Cayman R pads lasted 3 days at my last event, I am now using Ferodo pads.

Sounds good. Be sure to check out this thread with regards to brakes and brake pads:

Check out this thread. It's for a GT4, but the same principals apply. The section under alignment has light, moderate, and aggressive track use along with recommendations for parts. I was able to drive in the slower advance group at a decent pace with the light alignment (only front LCA) however my RE71Rs wore really badly on the outer half (lasted 3 days max).
