I wonder how many lives were saved now that this Mustang is off the street.

1. I thought this was going to be a 944 video.

2. I assume she lives in NJ.

3. "It's literally on fire."

IHI.

Pretty lax clothing restrictions for a DE. That stuff would have melted to her skin.

Hard to say. Leaving the hood closed likely did not limit that fire as to my untrained eye* it looks like it did not have a lot of fuel (looks like the cause was the oil filter gasket). However, opening the hood could have been very dangerous if the fire had a lot fuel and also would not have saved the car if that were the case. If a trained fire crew had gotten there fast, they may have been able to save it, but even then I suspect a lot of damage would have been done. Car fires are nasty business and one rule is to never turn your back on one.

As a side note, I still don't understand young women dying their hair gray -- there is plenty of time for that later in life!

*I base this one witnessing two car fires, both from blown motors, on one the track and one off. Hood closed did almost nothing to stop it and both cars went up like roman candles in the space of 10 minutes. In the case of the one on the track, the track fire truck could not put it out.

Don't forget to get all your personal belongings when evacuating an airplane as well. Preferably, make a video and take selfies as you go.

The Movie idiocracy sounds more and more like a documentary.

Rather overdramatic title on the video.
