Another group (Shelby Club) has been offered the Memorial Day spot and they are actively looking for participants. Advanced drivers only (> 25 days) and the cost will be $500 / day. I have run with them before, great group, and before, they had run advanced high HP and advanced low HP which is a big difference at RA. I drove a Cayman and was in the low HP which made it more fun.

John, I'm super close to taking the club race plunge. I'm just going to do the safety stuff and worry about the performance stuff later on down the road. I hope Mark is running H instead of E! I bet you have to be itching to get back out there!!

Road America was open Saturday and Sunday was really a great time, Saturday great weather, Sunday rained out after lunch, I was really happy to get back on the track again, this was my first time at Road America, a little intimidating compared to small tracks I have been to, I will be going back sometime this year.

Besides that, it's only 50 miles away from Lambeau Field to the north and about the same distance to Milwaukee heading south. Unless you drive like a complete putz, you can get from the track to Milwaukee in 45 minutes or less.

All my friends in Sheboygan, Plymouth, and Kohler are deeply offended you suggested they live in the middle of nowhere
Good list Hacker.

And thank you for not listing a certain establishment in St Anna. Its already too crowded!

Be well.

/\ Mike In Chi, I hope I see you at RA for the Club Races in September (Labor Day weekend)!

Hey did you watch the ESPN series on The Last Dance? Excellent stuff. Great Porsche content, too. Especially the Guards Red 993 Turbo S (with A I R) vanity plates.

The Last Dance was excellent, the best sports documentary I’ve ever seen. Growing up in the Chicago area, it was da Bears in the 80s and Bulls in the 90s.

Looking forward to getting back to RA and racing this year. Need to erase my error in the kink last year.

Me too. I'm not a racer yet, but I have had excellent experiences with Midwest Eurosport over the past 6 months I started going there.

My first experience was for the PDK "overheat" glitch I first experienced last summer at Mid-Ohio (see here https://rennlist.com/forums/997-foru...nsmission.html) and they installed the Porsche third radiator kit from Suncoast ( see here https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/9972TRD.html ).

Then, more recently in February to install the Porsche PDK temp sensor repair kit (see here https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/o...it-99761293001 ), as well as sundry other things late last season like camber alignment, fluid changes, getting me to start using Pagids, etc.

Hahahaahhahha!!!! AMEN!!! Always a multi hour wait for a table with a large group (we're usually +/- 20), good thing the cheese curds and onion rings go well with bier.
