Technically this guy has more hands on the wheel than I have ever had if you count all of the modules and computers.
Isn't this why you buy a new car these days? So you can auto drift with a hand on the wheel and one holding a coffee?
I feel a bit like this is just thread chumming for sharks finding youtube videos of poor instructors and posting it on the rennlist forum to ensure a 15 page thread.
OP,
Maybe dont find youtube videos of track instructors and assume that the youtube video is indicative of all drivers or instructors that participate.

They appeared as someone else mentioned to be having some good fun. Just a bummer the hand positioning wasnt addressed in the meantime.

it definitely isnt the standard. No sweeping generalizations are being made, just some light humor and sarcasm that seems to be missing the mark

NCR PCA will run two 3 day events this coming season at Club Motorsports. The track is fantastic and we have well trained and qualified instructors who would never permit a student to get away with the blatant improper hand positions shown in this video. If you have not been up there to experience this new track you owe it to yourself to give it a try.

Priceless
Should be shown at the opening of every instructor training class...

While the dude wearing a roller derby helmet and urging the driver to use the force was super fun, he wasn't an instructor; just a dude on a ride along with perhaps the greatest driver in the history of driving, so long as we exclude all other drivers.
