Default can I drill anywhere in 944 floor under seat for sub strap mount??

I bought some five point street seats for DE and will be ordering harness's. Can I drill in any spot directly under the seat in between the factory seat mount points to put an eye bolt to attach the sub strap? I will be backing it up with a 4"x4" steel plate from racer wholesale. How long does the bolt need to be?

As I recall, there are some things underneath - lines, etc. - that you don't want to hit, at least on a 951. Check it out underneath before you drill.

Hey;

The lines are off to the sides. There should be nothing directly down the middle. You'll of course confirm this before you drill.

Yes I will confirm. I drilled a hole through the side of the fuel line in a chevy Blazer years ago when mounting some running boards. Live and learn.

I just mounted a sub strap on my driver side and there was nothing underneath. Not sure about the passenger side, though.
