Wonder what the temperature was. Makes a huge difference at the Glen.

For educational purposes: what PCA GT Class engine type and hence HP/L to use for that engine?

Title was a little misleading there... for a smoking fast lap time. Nonetheless, some excellent driving but that's not your standard clubsport.

Looked like a private test day with no corner workers.

There is really nothing on this in the standard charts but my guess would be that it falls in the 175 HP/L factor PCA category which would give you a 3150lb min weight for GT2.

The in car camera is setup in a standard mode and the angel is positioned this way so we can see the drivers hands and the complete windshield. It helps with video review during our coaching process.

Air Temps were 68 degrees

Appreciate the kind words. In September we posted a 1:54.3 on a P-Zero DH during the GT4 America Sprint X Qualifying Session. This vehicle also hold a lap record for the fastest GT4 homologated 981 GT4 MR. Proper Setup is everything mate.

Looked like a private test day with no corner workers.
This lap took place during an Apex Driving Event last week.

Franklin the car weights in at 3180 in its current configuration with driver. Its placed to fall within the GT2 class / category. When compared to the lap times for the PCA Clash at the Glen event, it pretty much shattered everything around its class. A good reference was Lee going only 1.5 seconds fasters in a 991.2 GT3 MR =p

You can have all the power in the world however if the car isn't balanced / setup correctly the lap time won't be generated. We spend a lot of time with our chassis development and braking packages in order to give our drivers the best possible package out on track. We also appreciate the extra ponies from Deman Motorsports and Rick's team.

Off topic, but is the GT3 record of 1:15 correct? I thought the Indy car at 1:22 was the all time record, and that’s already mind-blowing.

Ehm - no. Looks like a first lap timing error.

1:15 would be an F1 time,....well, for Williams anyway.

Yeah....It’s a great lap by the driver but it is so misleading to suggest that this is a Porsche GT4 lap record....its got more modifications/bodifications than Caitlyn Jenner!!

Yeah you can do that...driving is exceptional but that is besides the point..HP and modifications matter in this sport and pleas don’t make false claims on this forum...!!!

You will be able to see the lap below in legal race trim, 154.3, I guess since it was set during a professional race weekend it would be an official track record. We were the fastest Porsche all weekend.
