Wait, we're now holding 16 year olds responsible for the creation of the society they live in? That's something.

No of course not. But when they sanctimoniously give us the "how dare you" lecture on world wide TV, they need to realize they bear equal responsibility.

But wait. We're going to get cheated out of a rain race?

Unclear. They will run in the rain for sure. Typhoon rain is some serious stuff though. Most of the time the damages from these types of storms is from flooding in japanz

Radio: It was a difficult day Lewis. That is the 6th consecutive constructor's championship for us. Thank you.
Lewis: Congratulations guys. (silence)
Great driver, douchebag.

^ Again a stupid tyre strategy call cost Hamilton a position, or perhaps two.

Hamilton’s times were matching Vettel before he was forced to stop the second time, and if you believe the new FIA graphic, his mediums were only worn 30% with just 11(?) laps to go. Hence Vettel would have never caught/passed Hamilton on track if Lewis hadn’t stopped a second time. Hell, Bottas is only at his best when he’s in clean air and running at the front; when he has to try and pass a fast driver such as Vettel; LeClerc; Hamilton; Max, etc. he bottles it. Therefore there’s a damn good chance that even though Bottas would have caught up to Hamilton since he, Bottas was on the softs, there is a good chance he might not have been able to pass. So maybe, Lewis has a reason to be pissed since the stupid team tyre change call at best cost him second place; and potentially a first.

But if you’re a Lewis hater, none of the above matters of course. lol

It’s payback for Max. When he was fresh and not fighting for world championship, he would take out leading racers and pretend that he didn’t do anything wrong! See who is moaning and groaning now!! Haha!!

I thought for sure that VET was going to get a false start penalty, but it seems that the stewards called this correctly.
What kept him from being penalized was 1) when he stopped he was still in his grid box and 2) the movement he had was below the threshold for the false start system to trigger. Interesting.

I think they called it right. Not only did he not gain an advantage, he lost positions due to his error.

I'll need someone way smarter than me to explain in little tiny words the justification for pitting HAM the second time. Seemed like his worst case scenario was being passed by BOT in the late stages of the race for a MERC 1-2.

I was surprised they did this. I thought they were doing the usual MB bull by saying they were 2-stop and then all of a sudden they would be 1 stop.
