Air cool engine oil change time??

I'd argue that unless the driver is either brand new at doing DE, or goes out of his/her way to be gentle on a car at DEs, the strain on the engine (and frequency of oil changes) doesn't vary much compared to racing.

Gus, you also do a lot of autocross, which means you likely see higher oil temps than a 'normal' track car would, too. Something else to take into consideration....

True on the AX, but after last engine rebuild I added a 2nd oil cooler and 2 fans. Now temps stay pretty normal range - so don’t think the AX temp range is an issue as much as summer DE temps. Ran NCM a couple of weeks ago air temperatures were around 96, with a measured air temp over the asphalt of 116. Car oil temp stayed in the 194 to 210 range. Which is the hottest I have seen it this year.
