Considering the amount of rubbing going on in the fun race, I’m glad I wasn’t one of them. Paolo and I had a moment in sprint 1 as Bill ran out of gas just before the checker in front of us as we were racing to the line.

They’re not. Sprints 2 & 3 and the enduro are points. He set a lap and came in.

In other news, it has been three days at NJMP and, despite my best attempts, my splitter remains attached to my car. Still one more day so a very real chance it joins its brothers in the graveyard of splitters between turns 2 and 3.

My shift cable became detached from my transmission in red Sprint 1 leaving me beached after turn 5. In red Sprint 2 I got a lucky P2 after two cars had to pit due to mechanicals.

Lastly, I have a five pound ballast of swedish fish after Matt D presented me with a huge Walmart family sized vat of the fish. Speaking of our neighbor to the North it appears SPC stands for Spec Canadian after Matt's performance.

He set a fast lap and came in. Then went back out after Counterman went faster and set another one. Twice I think.

Luckily most of the drama today was with pace cars.

Ain’t that the truth. Jack and I had absolutely nothing for Matt in sprint 2. I was able to get on Jacks bumper but could never get enough of a run to make a move. And since Matt pitted in sprint 1, I claiming that as beating him . He did set a new track record at 1:28.4 so he can cry himself to sleep each night in front of the rennpoints screen.

for anyone locking for a fun class, SPC rocks. It’s like spec Boxster with power and no hairdresser jokes, but without the tire expense of B1.
