There's a fine line between bravery and stupidity......

That said, it rained so hard at Mosport today at day's end that there were pairs of animals on the front straight.....so guess who was one of the three goofs out there driving in it?

Yep, Curly, Gary and Moe

At about the 0:25 mark I was internally screaming "GET OFF THE GAS!", wow!

I've never understood why drivers choose to drive so aggressively in extremely poor weather conditions. I don't see the point of risking one's health, car, money, and time for so little.

A few weeks ago I was watching crashes at The Nurburgring in the rain. So many nice cars turned into trash for no reason.

1. Why still on gas going into complete fog with zero visibility?
2. So got it back on the track, saw 20 cars in the grass in front, and still got on the gas into the turn?!

When I raced in Skippy racing series, two of the three races I won were in pouring rain, one of them at the VIR. But with my own race car I don't race in the rain exactly because so many things are out of my control and depend on the common sense and the skill of others. My race mechanic doesn't put a wiper on my race car for this reason. He says "if it gets wet enough for you to need a wiper" just pit in. With time I have understood the wisdom in this simple rule. If I was a pro racing a team's car with zero risk to my own pocket, that would be a different story.

I was in the race as well in the LS swapped Franken44. Had one good lap to move up to 2nd in ST2, then had a high speed spin, synchronized with the 3rd place Corvette behind me. Then it was a race to see who could get back on track 1st for finishing position before the race was red flagged.
