Summit Point Club Race practice day announced
Management at Summit Point is putting on a practice day again on the Thursday before the Club Race in September. It's a great value and you can sign up for the full day or now just the afternoon if you're driving in that morning.

This is a private event and is not publicly searchable. Full safety gear is required as is a properly prepared race car. No street cars allowed. Full safety and corner workers provided as you would expect.
I look forward to seeing everyone there.

This looks great, and as we get closer, I am looking to attend this event.
Interesting in that most sessions are 20 minutes but then you get a 40 minute session as well.
I assume where it says based on SCCA classifications that will be PCA?
Thanks for posting.

They have these all of the time for the local SCCA group. That's what they based this on. I suppose management just didn't bother to change this.
We are good.

All - as it turns out, there are TWO practice days that are available to you!
Regarding the wording on the Summit site for Thursday the 19th, yeah ignore that. It will likely be wide open track time as it has been in year's past with periodic breaks for the workers.
- Thursday, September 12th: Open Practice Hosted by Precision Track Time http://msreg.com/2019summit (one week prior to the race)
- Thursday, September 19th: Open Practice Hosted by the track (not PCA) http://msreg.com/PCAPotomac
