I'm pretty certain the beginning, middle, and end of this thread were all talking about ****. We have just moved to the direct approach toward the end.

So since the mustang and gt3 were out, who ended up winning the DE?
I think that this statement points to a root problem with current DE's. "Winning" and "DE" should not appear in one sentence. Regardless of the rules (passing zones, point-by,...) once there is a chance of "winning" ti should be called a race.

The only times winning and DE are used in the same sentence are by people who are joking or people who are mentally ill.

"Winning a DE" means going home with the car in the same condition as you brought it, except for some clag on the paint, a bit less rubber, a bit less brake pad, a bit narrower rotors, and some more used fluids. As a plus, maybe one learns something.

Spoken like a non podium DE guy. Not sure you're made of the right stuff there chief. Maybe look into a laptimer and see if that attitude swings back in the right direction.

Oh then I'm really screwed because I've already got an evil lap timer.
