Flame cam at VIR

Default Flame cam at VIR
Those of you who have come to know me realize that I am an eccentric kind of guy (yes, that's a rotary engine pun if you're in the know).

My rotary powered formula mazda snorts fire after coming off WOT (as my avatar pic demonstrates). I always wanted to put a GoPro near the exhaust so I did it this week at VIR. For orientation the video starts coming up to T1. I figured I wasn't happy with my driving, the weather and less so the car so I needed to entertain myself.

I'll just wait for Luigi and others to make comments about "flaming" or "flamer."

FLAME ON!

First of all this pipe does not originate from his motor but from his a-hole which explains all the extra gas being burned off, do not let him fool you. The "car's" exhaust is the other side.... Just sayin

I think it is cool how Mazda got the flames to illuminate their brand name so that it was all captured on the "Mazda Flame Camera" in this year's Rolex 24. That is dedication to marketing as Mazda appears to be making the word "flame" synonymous with its brand!

While it may be legal is Mass. I don't believe it is in Virginia.

I do some of my best work in movie theaters. Timing it to the quiet moments is key.
