Any tips/tricks for bedding DS2500 brake pads
I've got a student this weekend at COTA who has new Ferrodo DS2500s all around in a P-Car and I'm concerned we bed them properly. Anything necessary beyond Ferrodo's published procedure?
Ferrodo Bedding Instructions
I'm used to PFC brake pads.
Thanks

I just bed them in using Ferodo's instructions, no issues. I've run them for time trials, HPDE, autox, and daily them. They've been great.

Here are two bedding videos that apply to the Ferodos, and just about any pad compound for that matter. Once one understands what is happening during the process, it can be applied universally. DS2500 is pretty easy to bed overall, and also very forgiving even if they aren't bedded 100% prior to a track session. As long as you have a nice, even layer of pad material forming you should be good.
