Just saw the preview on TV last night. Matt Damon wouldn’t be my first choice to play Carroll Shelby, but he has pleasantly surprised me before. It’s a fantastic story—let’s just hope they do it justice.

Damon as Shelby is just cringeworthy and makes Kostner as Enzo the dog appear simply brilliant. Even so, this has potential.

Matt Damon....he is a good enough actor, so he'll pull it off, but I just can see him deep into the role as a chicken farmer from Texas. The saving grace in the move may be Christian Bale, for once, getting to do dialogue in his native tongue, the Queen's English. This actor has the ability to morph into roles, if he has to lose 50 + lbs for the role, he'll do it, if he has to gain similar weight of more, he'll do that too. Look into IMDB so see the varied roles he has done.

Regardless of the actors, this movie looks to be worth waiting for.

Hard to look at Damon these days with his politics but hopefully the story can carry it off.
