Default Any thoughts on the #22 Aston Martin driver's "move" this past weekend at LRP?

My apologies for the low quality video. I thought the driver deserves some sort of recognition . . . .

Here is the view from the driver behind:

And from in car . . .

Sorry that happened - all I will say is he scared me on track a little (although he always let me by no issue) I know somebody who did go have a talk with him after he almost ran him off track as well

Totally uncool. Would like to have seen Alex Miller at SVRA clamp down on this. What was the result? Did you meet with Alex and ask him?

I’ll say that everyone who sees a squirrel on the track (like Steve noticing this guy, he may have referenced this in another post) and doesn’t go to the stewards or the Competition Director (Alex Miller) to report it is part of the issue. Really too bad. Not supposed to be...

I thought this was a SGT, not SVRA run group? I didn't think you were at LRP for this event?

It was a combined SVRA Group10/ International GT

I was leading the race at the time so it was behind me but it was a biggg hit. We went full course yellow for around 5 or 6 laps they should have just black flagged it to get the car flat bedded out and clean up debris. That car has big damage you don't get a feel of how bad it was from video .
Its a shame because your car was nice and veryyyy fast down the straights

That really sucks. The IGT has had some great racing in the last few years. Sucks the camera car got pegged that hard and had that much damage.

I've seen so much lunacy in racing that some times it feels par for the course but I've found that if all racers go and talk to the drivers themselves as well as the stewards that eventually some of those people are gonzo...and we are all better off for it.

Yeh but that's not a blame on IGT they ran a great event . I recommend anyone thinking of doing an event with them to do it . Ken who runs it is a great guy and 99.9% of the drivers were veryyyy heads up.
Its so refreshing to hear an organization in racing that truly values you as there customer. I look forward to racing with them again

I read this as the driver was not in control of his line and tracked out into the damaged car. Not acceptable.
