Default Sport Cup 2's: N-spec vs. non N-spec

The Michelin Sport Cup 2's are available in some sizes with an N-spec (N0 or N1) rating or without any N-spec rating. Is there any difference in track performance between these versions such that one would be preferred over the other on the track?

I know for a fact there is a different in N0 and N1 spec. Also other specs for other brands and non spec MPSC2’s vary in width and and construction

I used some non N-Spec Cup2 through the last two seasons due to availability issues and it wasn't the end of the world - I'd be lying if I claimed to notice the difference, YMMV.

Having said that, I think you might have better options than the Cup2 for the Cayman.
