I had a student like this not long ago. 700+hp supercharged C7 with big *** carbon ceramics, day 1 beginner (God help me). Would blast down the straights, then park it every corner, to the point that we had a congo line of many miatas, E30's, etc. every session. Hesitated to give point bys even when I told him to. Eventually had to threaten to park him for the day if he did not start giving point bys as soon as I said to. It was a long day. When I told him to work more on corner speed than flooring the thing, he complained about his all season tires.

I am cracking up reading this. Had a few students like this myself, and it makes for a long day.

My dad had a great way of describing people like that. Perhaps you've heard the phrase. He said they had "more dollars than sense".

The FLATOUT video has become a modern classic. Brilliant.

While we're digging up the classics, here's one of my favorites. "I was Seventh."

He makes racing seem so simple: just pass everyone on the pace lap!

For a minute it looked like he was going to take the uphill sideways and that would have been awesome!

Reminds me of the end of DerABTs flip video but in that case he hit oil and was a passenger. Same quote at the end.
