Default Dry Chemical extinguishers - Cleanup the Mess

How do you properly clean-up the residue from a Dry Chemical fire extinguisher? Can you just hose it off?
Thanks,
And no, the Pcars are fine, but a certain VW bug is hurting..

wear a mask and use a shop vac. When you think you got most of it up, then hit it with a hose (water/air) outside. Made a freaking mess out of my expedition and tool box

Hey D;

Not a chemist, but if I'm not mistaken, that stuff is highly acidic, and therefor highly corrosive. You might also want to mix up a baking soda solution and give it a dousing before you dry things up for good!
