Default 993 race headers

I'm in the market for race headers for my 993 (GT2- EVO look ) . S-Car Go's are $3500, Motorsports are $6-7k . Is there an alternative? And are those upper end headers really worth the $$$, in terms of any significant gain in HP or torque?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

BTW, the car has 993 RSR/ERP suspension, so early headers won't work, clearance issues.

Thanks !

Sorry cannot offer any technical information on the topic but you can count on me for an opinion never the less

In my limited experience this hp and torque thing is given way too much credit. When my driving is hooked up (not very often unfortunately, about 35% of my races) I leave many higher powered cars in my wake. So go with pretty pipes. These are S-Car-Go that Autometrics custom tuned for the car and charged the same as Midas Muffler. Other than the headers the car is mostly sort of stock.

Thanks Bill ! I spoke with Ryan at TRG and he recommended B&B headers for under $1500, 304 stainless, then I'll have to fabricate, or have Burns fabricate a cone /reverse cone set-up.....and also some sort of muffler for Laguna due to the 92Db limit.

Those snails are pretty nice .....

Ryan is the man! He has supplied me with many gadgets over the years. Give him my regards.
I am so frustrated with black flags for exhaust noise I am installing those stacks you see on the 18 wheelers

You can try http://www.coastfab.com/ultralights.html but I believe the Db on their muffler is 95. Also- www.burnsstainless.com
