Any tips on where to get belts recert in socal or do you have to mail back to Schroth?

From our experience, Schroth will not recertify or re-web harnesses. You have to buy new. Plus, the FIA homologation has changed so even if they did recertify, they probably couldn't recertify an old style belt with new dates.

Schroth doesn't reweb. Simpson used to give you credit towards new belts if you send in your old ones, maybe they still do...

Good reminder... I have a set of Sabelt (I really like them over Schroth) in one of my cars that just expired...

Thanks for the responses.

I ended up ordering a new set of CAM Lock, 5 pt belts from Impact Racing along with a their Accel H&NR system.

Need to come up with a cool art project for old harnesses.

Not sure I'd want to do business with Impact. In the past they were accused of counterfeiting SFI tags:

2005 -2008 products 2009 forward no issues

Havent found more about how and why this occurred.
