Spectators Racing Street Cars on an Oval – WTF???
Apologies if this has been posted before, but WTF? Newbs racing wheel to wheel in street cars on an oval with no safety equipment? Not even helmets? How is this even possible?

not to mention most insurance companies do not cover crashes on race tracks.
Bam, I saw some poeple wearing helmets but seriously, that was fun to watch.

That was insane. And awesome at the same time. The dejected look of the guy that wrecked...he realized insurance wasn’t gonna cover it and he still owed full boat on it...
i have ave no idea what track or organizer would allow those folks to get on track and race wheel to wheel. But even moreso to do it with no safety equipment - not even a helmet.

Burning Brakes
They used to call it King Of The Hill. The ten or so cars that would enter would race 2 laps at a time. The winner would advance to the next round. The last car standing would wind up with a couple hundred bucks. It was pretty entertaining.
In this day and age I'm suprised they still have it.

I just drove from San Diego to SLC on the I-15... that video looks WAY tamer than the carnage I witnessed.
4 lanes going 80-90... a few feet apart... kids and cell phones distracting everyone... throw in a little ice and snow... the occasional sleeping driver... a few semi trucks... bald summer tires when it's 20 degrees out...
