They have helmets on. At 2:09 in the video he throws the helmet onto the passenger side.

Thr Autoweek article I read said there were no helmets. But after watching the video a few more times I think you’re right. When the Mustang is sliding backwards it looks like you can see a silver helmet right before the airbag pops.

It's said that 90% of drivers think they're above average. I'll guess in FLA 99.99 think they're above average.

Yes, that is new Smyrna Speedway. When I went to college in Florida over 30 years ago they did this every weekend. They call it “Run what ya brung”. Crazy, but that is a typical weekend in Florida.

Who supplied the hookers and blow? Part of the registration fee?

I like the "winner" interview at the end.........no doubt the Ferrari factory will be calling him to replace Vettel.

Holland Speedway up here in NY Did the same thing... But it was always 2 cars only from Dead stop for one lap.. I was racing street stock at the time.. and Yes.. I entered.... Funny when I was 23, never even thought about crashing.. but then again.. I was always out front, Camaros had nothing for the Porsche in the corners... And we did wear helmets..

The "winner" was the most funny part of the video. You'd think the guy just won the Monaco GP the way he was talking.

Unfortunately, this video rammed home the Vette and 'Stang sterotypes like a pile driver!
