I got this letter from HVR:
09/21/19 - Driver's Ed at Lime Rock Park
Dear Driver:
Hudson Valley Region PCA will be hosting two Advance Driver's Education events at Lime Rock Park for 2019. We are also adding a third event shared with Hudson Champlain Region at Lime Rock Park in August for all run groups.
Our first event will be on Tuesday April 16, 2019 which will be un-muffled. This event is open to all Marques. We will be accepting 40 entries for Intermediate and Advanced Drivers only (White, Black, Red). The event will once again be half day from 12:00 to 5:00. We will have 2 Run groups that will be organized by speed.
Our second event will be on Saturday September 21, 2019 which will be a muffled event. This event is open to all Marques. We will be accepting 40 entries for Intermidate and Advance Drivers only (White, Black, Red). The event will be shared tract time with the Lime Rock Drivers Club using alternating hour schedule. Our third event will be a share event with HudsonChamplain Region featuring all run groups and will be a two day event at Lime Rock. Final details will follow.
We will again have two Taste of the Track events. Our April 16 event will be at Lime Rock and feature two 15 minute on track session following a Pace car and a 20 minute class room chalk talk. Our September 21 event, also at Lime Rock, will be one 15 minute on track with a 20 minute classroom chalk talk. Registration for all events open February 1, 2019. We may join you again at one of your Pocono events as our region (NNJR) seems to have cut out Pocono altogether for some reason this year. Makes me sad. Always liked running the Mega configuration at Doc's Place.
Does anyone know if any region is doing a 2 or 3 day DE on the Mega Course at Pocono this season? I can't seem to find any dates for this configuration, with PCA or with anyone for that matter. I like the Mega Course very much.
If anyone knows of a Mega Course DE this season, please post it up here or PM it to me. Thanks in advance. DG.
