Thinking about running next year.

Damn! I didn't realize. It would have been the perfect reason to ignore responsibilities, disregard to-do lists and head to COTA. Alas, I'll watch it in the background on the computer as I work. Thanks for the heads up.

So happy for Scott Heckert, Mike Skeen and the Black Falcon Team for the overall win and to Mike Vess, Jason Hart, Curt Swearingen and the Classic BMW team for the GT4 class win. Don’t know what happened to Hedlund?

Agreed, and for Nathan McBride, the car engineer. Selfishly, Nathan was also my engineer for both my SCCA National Championships. He know's how to make a car fast and strategy. Kudos to that team.

Agreed -- Good guys finishing first!

The 488 GT3 is a damn fine race car. Creventic puts on a really nice event, I'd drive with them again in a heartbeat.

Seth Thomas turned me on to the series when he and Dan went to Spa. Sounds great!

Differential lost all it's preload in the first stint (going down straights I thought the clutch was slipping!). We managed that (10 minute stop in the pits to adjust so we decided to soldier on), then had a small off Sunday morning (while 3rd in class and 5th overall!) which seemed to cause a metric-ton of electrical problems. I was in the car for 2 1/2 hours Sunday morning diagnosing the electrical issues but even with help from the folks in Italy they couldn't get it reliable enough to do laps. We didn't want to effect the race by being in the way or causing code-60's so we decided to retire the car.
