If I was going to have a sedan based track car, my dream car is a purpose built racecar - a cup car. The GT2 RS is the ultimate cars and coffee car but I'll take the monoball suspension, naturally aspirated motor, and proper sequential gearbox in a real racecar anyday for the track.
And if we are going down that road, my "ultimate" track car would have to be something sports racer or open wheel based - the speed per dollars, and more importantly, the visceral sensation of an open wheel car is incredibly hard to beat, no matter how unlimited one's wallet (not a problem I have).

I am no where near good enough to handle a car like that anyway. Still be my dream track car though.
I'm sure it'd be real dangerous in the right hands.
I'm happy with my Cayman on the track...…for now.
