Unfortunate... Vettal should have just waited on what would for sure have been a penalty to Max (from coming together with Kimi) and not attempted a pass on a turn that there was very little chance for success. Seb ends up in the back (again) desperately trying to get back where he was from his own mistake. It's frustrating to see how his temperament continues to get the best of him and basically makes the end of the season a non event as Hamilton cruises to another victory with not a single challenge. I hope next year looks different.
And I think MB is out-engineering Ferrari overall too.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, sometimes it pays off, in Vettel’s case it didn’t! Pretty ‘soporific race’ for Hamilton upfront, however his consistency and flawless drive needs to be acknowledged. Hamilton simply doesn’t beat himself, the same can’t be said for Vettel, this year. Those going to COTA might get to watch Lewis clinch his 5th driver’s world championship...not a bad bonus for what is an otherwise outstanding F1 venue/event (the US Grand Prix).

They gave Verstappen mode 7 for the final lap. Oh yippie. Enough with managing engines and tires - just let them race. And while they're at, take away half the aero and given them another 200hp.

Indy is like a poorer man's version of what you are describing and to works fairly well these days.

The Red Bull 'Renault' power seemed solid in this race. Hopefully it will serve Daniel well next year.

Didn't find the race boring at all - the winner was foreordained, but the rest was pretty interesting.
Ferrari (the team, including their #1 driver) are a mess and have imploded. No one singular thing to blame, it's a team-earned-deserved cockup.
Listening to the Sky Hamilton broadcast is stomach churning, but they do have the better team and the better driver.
Best,
Matt

Did you see K Mag get hit from behind and a cut tire when he did the "Verstappen move under braking"? That was awesome. That should be the result of anyone who does that move.

It's sad to see Ferrari continue to commit slow motion suicide
