Default Charlotte Motor Speedway Roval Course - July 28 - Under the Lights

Hi guys, I shared this invite last year and we had several Rennlisters show up with our group so I want to extend the invite again. I'll be there again this year but not in my 997 as it is gone.

We did Charlotte Motor Speedway (Roval course) last year all day and a couple sessions under the lights at night and it was wild.

Our same group is doing it again this year and they still have spots open if anyone is interested. You do nearly all of the oval plus the infield.

We also have access to the XFinity garages (they'll send an email later incl. cost but last year I believe it was $40-50). James (JZilla) always donates a portion of the revenue to charities/sets up charitable events.

July 28, 10am-10pm is the event date and you can get more information here:

Sorry I should’ve included more details. The price I mentioned was for a garage spot only based on last year. I don’t think the email has gone out yet for garage spots this year. “This is a no first timer event. 3 run groups Novice Solo (with approval) Intermediate and Advance. 8-20 minute runs.”

$400 for the day. Two groups remain: intermediate and novice solo. No pure novice in that group. According to James there are potential drop outs from the advance group as there are signups with payment outstanding.

I actually did intermediate last year and the group was extremely quick. I had no trouble wringing every bit out of my 997 GT3.

Going to Charlotte for the roval in 2 weeks. First time on the roval. Daytona was a real treat I hope it’s similar.

Did you raise the right rear tire and right front tire pressures (sport cup2) to around 34-36 cold just like at Daytona?
Is that lateral load as high here as in Daytona?
