Given up on the garden hose and mouth method already!? It looked like it worked for you at NJMP last year...

Find your local Parker / Hose Doctor location and tell them what you need. They'll have the proper fittings and can crimp it onto an appropriate hose for fuel / gasoline. I've used my local location numerous time for custom hoses.

Your car has either a Sobek or Staubli fitting, so it will not mate properly with anything made by Parker unless you change everything over to Parker fittings. I would first try Ed Baus at Demon Speed Motorsports; he sells a fuel pump-out hose for Cup cars, but I'm not sure what vintage it's for. A picture of the hose he sells is below. You might also check with PMNA; they can probably sell one as well. Note that hose shown in the photo below also shows a Porsche part number (but I'm not sure if it's the correct part number for your car). If you need a Staubli fitting, which was used on some cars, then you need to go through Jack Gilsdorf at Cup Car Solutions. Unfortunately, these parts are stupidly expensive. You might prefer to suck it out through a garden hose!

I commend Ed Baus and support him when I can. But I got mine from PMNA for $108. You can look at Demonspeed's price and choose what you want to do.

Its a somewhat standard disconnect that a good (not lowes etc) fittings/hose shop can mate up. We have a gigantic place here in Tampa that does every type of air/hydraulic hose and fitting. We built several for like $6 each. One time we couldnt match the male disconnect on one of the cars, so we just got a new male and female. Just screws into the fuel system in back.

Really ? You guys have to help me keep in the loop on this stuff. I thought we shopped Motorsports and that is where the price came from. I will have to re-look.

We do have a couple of used ones too (that are just fine)

Thanks

Ed
