No big discussion because Rennpoints has already figured out the results:

Here's some trash talk, "I love New York" NOT.
Why do these Northern state Yankees have to always make life so difficult?
Arrive at track 830pm night before the race weekend...
Nope, you can't come in, you need to register. But registration is closed.
Why can't I just sign a waiver NOW and THEN register TO RACE in the morning?
Because Pete Temper said so and he running the show.
Every other track we just sign the waiver and get a wrist band.
In the few minutes I've been sitting at the gate countless truck/trailers have been turned away. Nice. Have fun trying to park that at your hotel.
btw, schedule says Gates open until 11pm.

The registration process for the Clash has been the same for years. Registration is at the top of the hill where you sign both the WGI and PCA waiver and receive your wristband. That wrist band allows you to enter the track at gate 2 without having to stop. The reason behind this is in the past trailers were backed up on to Rt 16 blocking traffic while waiting to sign at the gate, causing issues with local law enforcement. If you arrive after registration closes then you will not be able to enter the track. Gate 2 is open until 11:00 pm for those who already have a wristband.
The event organizers intentions is not to make entry to the track difficult, but rather eliminate a potentially unsafe situation entering the track due to a long line of stopped vehicles on the road and keeping law enforcement happy.

Alright Scott I'm watching for you to pass me tomorrow so I can break 2:15 by following your lead I love, love, love successfully chipping away at my times. 2:20 at the DE, 2;19 practice 1, 2:18 practice 2 and then 2:16 in practice 3 and that when we only had 2 or 3 laps in practice 3 and only 3 or 4 in practice 2. Unfortunate that we lost so much track time, but I feel really good about my steady progress. Really makes this sport fun, fun, fun. Actually can't wait 'til next year when I hope to get all the way down to 2:12!! Feel really good about breaking 2:16 and beating the Rennpoints estimate since in practice 3 I was on stickers and was still holding back hence my lift after turn 1. I felt some "squirm" in the tires and didn't want to push it too early and same on most other corners so I'm hopeful there are 2:15s in me tomorrow.

It was a good day today. Lots of ups and downs but mostly ups. The Yellow Group Fun Race was cancelled due to the T-Storm. Was actually looking forward to that.

Congrats, Joe. To do :15's, let alone :12's, you'll need to MAKE those tires squirm!

You had me worried. I thought I was going to owe you a lot more than beer if I was holding anyone back. Thankfully, I look like a duck but I don't quack like one . . . I'm in the red boxster 504 not 54. That's Jordan Smith. I promise I won't hold anyone up intentionally! Joe
