It's a big boy track, for sure. And, despite what many think, crossing the border (northward) is quick and painless. Coming back into the US, not so much. Behave yourself and say "Yes Sir" to the man in blue.

The IMSA announcers also said it is the best track in North America.

what are the requirements for getting back into the country if you have a personal motorhome and personal trailer?
are there custom forms you ahve to fill out?
i remember years ago going with a shop and it was an utter headache. they got stuck coming back overnight fr some reason.
was pulling teeth.
its always this outside thought/issue that creeps into my head when contemplating canada.

Try to make a list of your parts

Custom looks for parts not declared, this is why the hassle

Been doing exactly that for a few years now with never a problem. No forms to fill, but all private; it probably makes a difference.

I am Canadian however, but not sure how that would make a difference. I do declare stuff that I purchase in the US and must sometimes pay taxes on overage but most times, if it's not too much, they just wave it through, probably happy that I declared.

Going into US they are concerned about fresh fruits and veggies, even if they are originally from the US, but processed food is ok. Coming in to Canada, they want their taxes.

Be upfront and polite, and all should be good.

See you in August

Oh, and don't bring any guns; a big no-no.

Coming into Canada to go to Mosport (like I'll be doing tomorrow ) they ask if I have any firearms EVERY TIME.
Funny, but I don't recall them asking coming back over....

If you are bringing your own stuff into Canada, stay in the Cars or RV lanes at the border. All personal property, No paperwork, no hassles. If your shop is bringing your car in they are a commercial carrier and need to have the correct paperwork. See the UCR website and see Matt's suggestions above. Don't bring guns or drugs. And don't bring beer to Canada, or donuts.

On the 30th anniversary of the Rothmans Porsche 944 Turbo Cup race series, checkout some great video footage at Mosport:

That was fun. Amazing to see folks working on a car at T3 as there is full on racing just a few feet away; different times for sure.
