I might be there on Sunday afternoon (weather permitting) as I hope to be driving on the North Track that day. I always enjoy watching the Lemons race. Pretty creative and fun stuff on track!

It was a fun weekend. Wet and cold, but fun. We ended up blowing a head gasket (like all Hondas do) and put the car on the trailer Sunday afternoon. We ended up in 60+ place out of 110 cars.

Fun! Yeah, the weather in Chicago last weekend was horrific. Fortunately I was in degrees warmer! Go Illini! Lemons is a really neat event. I love seeing the creativity.

I was lucky to have the only dry stint on Saturday. You got lot of practice driving the rain line.
And forget about Sunday. I drew the short straw for the first stint. The steam creeping into the cabin and condensing on the windshield from water splashing on the exhaust made for interesting times. I wish I'd had the pool noodle with a rag on the end so I could see.

Full results are finally up.
We finished 70th. Meh. I'm happy with our 1:49.417 best lap. And that was on those crappy Dunlop Direzzas!
