Default Ex-Magnus Racing 997 in-car footage from Road Atlanta

This week I had a chance to coach the owner of the car for his first visit to Road Atlanta. The car is an Ex-Magnus Racing 997 Grand Am Spec Cup Car with the 4.0L motor. This car was an amazing car to drive as it was fast in straight line and well set up for the twisty bits around Road Atlanta. The gearing was unbelievable for the track as on teh back straight we didn't have too many RPMs left at the end of the back straight. Hope you guys enjoy the visceral sound

Nice. Came close to purchasing that car last year. It's a beast.

it is a beast for sure. Car is setup a little soft for the Pirellis but they still work well with this setup. With some fine tuning on the chassis and some fresh tires I think there is another 2-3 seconds in the car

Thanks Nick. Even though I was driving the car I feel the same way. The sound these cars make is what gets me excited for racing every time I get a chance to be on a race track.

The back stretch goes by fast in that. I wouldn't have time to make tea like I do in the spec Boxster.
