Default Zone 1 48 Hrs of Watkins Glen Registration Open

Just a note - registration for this years 48 Hrs DE May 18-20th is open on www.clubregistration.com. It opened this morning and their are already 108 people registered. It looks like another year of a great turnout, lots of track time, and fun!

For folks who are interested in obtaining their national instructor training, we'll be offering that on Friday May 18th. Friday is also a day of tons of track time for all solo drivers.

Hope to see lots of folks there.

Registered yesterday.
Look forward to this all year.
Zone 1 has had great instructors the past two years!
Let's hope for great weather and a safe event!

Registered yesterday as well as intermediate (solo) for all 3 days.

Will already have had 3 or 6 days at WGI by then for this season, and did about 15 days there last season. Love the place.

Can't wait. See ya there Matt, and maybe you could find 5 minutes to talk about data acquisition with me.

See everybody there.

Sounds great.

I always have time to talk data! Well, let's be honest. I'm full of hot air, I can always talk.

Hey Matt,

Hope you don't mind - but I fixed the link in your OP for you above so it works.. As well, let me know if you'd like me to send out a quick e-mail blast to our Instructors from the NER list - especially about the PCA National Instructor Training....

Sounds like it's filling fast and a terrific event!

Thanks for the link fix! An email blast would be great. It's one of the few times (if not only) for instructors to take the national course.

No sweat, Matt... And about the e-mail blast - consider it done! I'll pop one out in a bit (and probably plagiarize unabashedly your post above )...

Best always,

We need instructors. Right now have twice as many novices as instructors.

Says you .
Honestly, as much as I love The Glen, VIR has secured a special place in my heart, and that’s only after a total of 6 days there so far. 3 more planned with NNJR in October.
That being said, I am 3.5 hours from WGI and 9 hours from VIR, so The Glen will clearly see more of me, but make no mistake, I find VIR more challenging, and therefor a more satisfying experience.
I love them both, and whether I like one more than the other or not, they are ranked #’s 1 and 2 for me. I love them both. I am a better driver at WGI because I have been there so many more times than VIR.
I love them both. I do.
Are you doing this DE with Zone 1?

A quick bump!

For anyone that is an instructor but hasn't done the national training, don't forget this is a chance to do the program on Friday and have 2 more great days at the track Saturday and Sunday. For folks who are in their regions Instructor Development program, if you think you are ready, email me or talk to your CI and we'll see if it's appropriate for you to take the class too.

Won't be long now (I know I know, that's what she said..)
I'm at The Seneca all 3 nights in a hotel/motel room.
Anyone else staying at The Seneca for this DE?
