Default F1 Verizon Fios sucks

Woke up Saturday morning, checked the dvr for F1 practice and quali sessions. Yep, the dvr recorded both. Hit play on practice session. Soccer. Hit play on quali. Ok, that worked. Watched it until it ended. It ended mid broadcast before q3.

Nice job verizon. Thanks.

Same with Charter / Spectrum here in the Midwest...I missed the last half of practice but adjusted my recordings to catch quali and the entire race.

C'mon guys - this is easy to fix. When you're recording a live program, just extend the finish time in case of red flags etc.
Anyway, real fans watch it live.....

Yeah, you missed the end because of Bottas not because of your cable company. Spoiler!

I add an extra 60 minutes to all my F1 dvr recordings.
Not my first rodeo.

I had the same issue, the direct tv schedule was off by 1 hour. When i check current time in Melbourne vs the guide schedule. The guide schedule was set for 1 hour earlier, I recorded some other sports session 1 hour later and it was the F1 practice.

No need for dvr
Go to ESPN.com/watch and look at replays

Yeah, I typically add 30 min. but practice started 60 min later than scheduled...made the necessary adjustments for qualifying and the race.
And, qualifying was back on schedule so thank you Spectrum.

****ty titty Clarke. Can you get xfinity in Arlington? That is what we have here in Alexandria, and it seems to work flawlessly for that purpose, even though we spend a fortune each month it seems with all my real Boss' add-on's. Beyond racing, I record an ***-ton of Bundesliga games, and they always come in just fine, even though Bayern lost on Sat.

Get a 4K Apple TV and put the ESPN app on it. You will never use a DVR again.

Nope. But there seems to be a lot less of them than on regular TV.

Eventually your DVR won’t be able to do it either.
