Laguna - preparing for rain
I have some friends flying out west to drive Laguna for the first time. After a bone dry month, it's now forecasted to rain both days.
I'm guessing it will take some trial and error to find the grip. Are there parts of the track we should absolutely avoid in the rain?

It has been several years, but the last time I ran there in serious rain there would be a couple of minor rivers between 11 and the bridge on the front straight and another noticeable one between 3 and the bridge between 3 and 4.

Turn Three & Four seem to be where I've seen people get in trouble. Just be smooth and build speed. I've done LS several times in the rain. It's still fun.

When I went last Sunday it had rained overnight and the track was wet through the early sessions. As has been said, turn three can build up water and it is already challenging being off camber. Stay off the paint.
A bigger challenge may well be the cold weather that we have been enduring, it can be bone chilling on the Monterey peninsula.
