NOLA PCA Race with NASA
#16
If you are thinking of coming to the NOLA PCA Race, please register now! I know racers want to wait until after COTA to register, but we need to get an accurate car count within the next week so a decision can be made regarding the race. The race director (JC) has offered to refund the entry fees, so if you have an accident or mechanical at COTA and can't make NOLA your covered. Please look at the Mardi Gras Region website for more info.

The French quarter is a 20- 25 minute drive from the track. Most of the parking is metered or a paid parking garage. She should have no issues getting there and back over the GNO bridge via the Westbank expressway.

Sorry folks, lost my clutch or tranny at CoTA -- despite a great weekend -- but I'll be traveling and won't be able to address it in time for NoLA -- so I will have to miss the event this year -- but
I definitely have it on my todo list for next year.

Thanks too all the guy/gals that showed up for this one.
Different format with enduro 1st, followed by 2 sprints Saturday and an Australian inverted grid race on Sunday.
Mojom3 supplied my son Eon with a 1992 968 (thanks Dave) to make his first ever SP3 attempt, up from SP2 and he managed a few crazy drives to finish 2nd in SP3 and even managed to pass and hold the lead for more than half of one of the 30 minute sprints vs Dennis Hiffman's much more developed 968 in what was basically a stock 968 with Koni street shocks on the front....
Tip of the hat to the RL'ers that were there, Lemming, Max Energy, etc., etc.
Now....., onto making a plan for some aero and further develop the 111 MembTv 968 to take some SP3 wins down the road.....!

I watched some of the in car vids this morning and E drove like a true champ with basically an evil bite you in a heartbeat handling car. T and E got finished installing the transmission at midnight Wednesday and E got to test Thursday afternoon for the second time in the car. They tweaked on suspension settings between every session and at the second sprint was able to battle with Dennis for the whole race. Finally lost 1st on the last lap. Best battle of the whole race!

You need to modify your "current crop" to F250 tow vehicle with garbage can scratches on lower right 1/4 panel....

Yep, a fantastic weekend, lots of good racing and friends. Thanks to all the volunteers that made this happen.
I hope that the racer count increases in the future, the track and facilities are top notch! Also a great race to take the wife with you, she can spend all her time and money in the quarter!
