Hi Jeff:

Yeah, the Fabulous One has been banned from the board by John D for multiple abuses of our courtesy code.

Re the tires: Yep, I run 18s. Expensive proposition.

Have a great holiday, hope to see you at the track (NASA?) next year...

You can count on it!

Will you and "the boys" be at the Endurance Race @VIR in January?? I would LOVE to see more P-Cars in that race!! ...it's only 3hrs/300miles.

I'm gonna talk Mark (Carrera 51) and his sidekick Mr. Bentzen into participating...they just don't know it yet.

Carrera51, I had a similar problem with understeer in slow corners. The Michelin rep at the track told me to "add 2 lbs to the loaded front side". So for a left hand corner, add 2lbs to the right front. This did help somewhat. By the way, they also told me to add 5-6lbs all around in wet conditions. Hope this helps.

Just my 2cents, I drive a Z06, I have been Auto-Xing it for the last three years on a National level, I'm alway in the midle of the pack. This year to conserve money, I tried a set of Sprot Cups at the start of the season in place of the Hoosiers I have used for the past two seasons. I also started driving my car to events ranging in distances of up to 2Kmiles from home. I still place (in the middle of the pack at National tour events) and Still on top in regional and America AutoX events. One set of tires, 6000 road miles and over 100 laps. and I still have 2/32 left, the feel of the tires never chandge, they do work best when it is hot (track temp 110+) I changed my shock set up down 2 clicks comp and up 1 rebound, also change front camber to -1 vs -1.5 , did ad 1/4 toe in at events. I will be using them next season. (a new set)

Charlie:
I've heard about increasing the pressures for rain driving. However, I found, at least in my case, that they work better in the wet after reducing the pressures by about 2-3 lbs. First wet race, I added 5lbs, the car was all over the place. 2nd time around, I reduced the pressures by about 3 lbs, and the car was much better.

Go figure...

235-40-18, that sounds good. What about 235-45-17?

Did they say when? I spoke with a USA Michelin tech this week who could not quote a date. Their web site says 4th quarter 2003.

mds, They did not say when but the person with whom I spoke said they would be out very soon. I tried to find out if they would have them on the truck at Sebring but they didn't know much about the truck

Mike,

They are already in the country, but they need to get their act together and make them available for sale.

Well, I have been running Khumos because of the size. This is when size really matters. I don't know if this contact info is current, but this is a east coast regional sales & marketing VP
