Default Have You Ever Ordered a Stand 21 Custom Suit?

If so, please help me out with 3 questions:

1. What do you wish you'd known before you began the process? And is there anything you wish you'd done differently?
2. Did they offer any design assistance or other good advice?
3. How did you decide which suit to choose? How did you pick the design?

So far the rep I've dealt with has been very on top of things and very helpful.
Just wanting to hear experiences of others.

1. Not really change anything about the experience. Had the suit measured for me while at PRI. When it arrived I was pleased with the fit. If anything I would have had Stand21 make it a tad bit smaller through the middle.
2. They did offer assistance, but I chose a specific set of colors, etc without their input. Went with a very simple two color design. I chose a very light base/main color. Beautiful out of the box, but got dirty in a quick way. Will not do that next time. Driving a formula car in the wet puts stress on light colors....Chose the lighter color to reduce heat...
3. ST3000. At the time it was the top of the line suit. Wanted the ultimate in breathability. No other suit fit the bill. New one will be an ST3000 as well. Breathable and comfortable...like a pair a pajamas. I race mainly in the hot sections of the US and being comfortable is a key.

The guys are very good. They will work with you to get what you what.

Kevin is top notch. I haven't done a suit, but their support on helmets is terrific.

Kevin and others attend a variety of events, including PCA Club Racing, HSR and SVRA events.

You can usually find them at some of more major PCA events. Had measurements taken at Daytona last year but haven;t pulled the trigger as their is still life in my current suit.

I got a custom OMP suit. The fit is good and their quality is at the top. I spoke with Stand-21 about getting one of their's, but frankly they dropped the ball and I'm happy with that, I like my suit.

I’m on my second suit. The first one I did not have them take the measurements, and that was a big mistake. The suit never fit quite right, and I was on the hook for the cost of modifications. For my second suit, I had them do the measurement and it came out perfectly.

Ive got the Martini Porsche suit, in their most expensive materials. You should know however, that it you order that material in white, it does yellow over time. I was really surprised to lay them side-by-side and see such a difference. I’m told it’s bright sunlight that does it, so hide yourself in the shade if you’re **** like me.

I could turn a white suit to some shade of gray/black/grease in a few events! Good info!

Good info here, ty.

So did you guys who wear Stand21 pick the ST3000?

Sounds like it's the most comfortable.
But it's also a bit more expensive.

The rep (Kevin) has offered some colors in my preferred scheme, and offered to help w design.
