IRG has also purchased the assets of Skib Barber Racing School, LLC.

The great Bruce MacInnes along with Divina Galica taught their first “combined” school at PBIR last weekend.

They bought the open wheel cars. The Miatas went to Atlanta Speedwerks and will be used at Next Level. Great for Rennlist Todd Lamb!

Yep we have the bulk of the MX-5’s and we are working with the veteran Skippy instructors who formed Level Up.

The Bertil Roos guys were eyeballing those open wheel cars for months. Good that they finally came to an agreement to buy them.

I think people need to know that there is PLENTY of talent to go around... That they will have a good experience whether they choose to go to LevelUp, Lucas Oil School, the folks that bought BRRS and the IP of SBRS, or Allen Berg, among others.

Peter Stolz is the brainchild behind LevelUp. His vision brought in Watts, Stevie D, JP and the incomparable Terry Lee Earwood into the fold. People need to realize that there is a combined one hundred and fifty YEARS of racing experience on tap at any one of LevelUp's schools.

To me, the best part about any professional school that (no offense intended) puts to shame amateur or volunteer-staffed marque club schools, is the incredible 'intellectual equity" and experience AT ALL LEVELS that the instructor corps represents, and you only help that, Todd.

Looking forward to seeing the forward progress of this and other great professional schools. In a world where people and organizations hang out a shingle that advertise "coaching," only a few gifted individuals are capable of delivering on this promise.

Dennis Macchio and his crew are some (with Bruce and Divina ably assisting); Peter, Keith, Steve, Jim and Terry and you are more; Todd, Randy, Tommy, RC, JJ and others are another great resource, followed up by Allen and his crew on the West Coast.

Super important for people to do their homework and to lay a solid foundation upon which to grow.

Any racing school is going to teach so much more than the standard DE/sanctioning body “school� can. Collectively we all want to see qualified drivers getting on track who are properly educated and equipped with the skills to safely and competently race wheel to wheel.

Go to the school that is closest, offers cars like you want to eventually race, and/or has a convenient schedule for you. But go and learn the basics first, and learn them right, so you don’t have to unlearn bad habits later.

I learned a ton crunching around the gears in those Bertil Roo's cars, and a season of running the club carts at VIR prior to that really helped to learn momentum management. Compare that to my first DE day before all of this I was a loose cannon on the track, point and shoot. I am very grateful I have been able to learn from you guys here, Peter with education and use of the vBox in Spec Atom's, Dennis 5 day school and Enduro (his Pall Mall track twalks were great!), and Todd (trying) to follow you around Road Atlanta and Watkins Glenn earlier this year in SPB.

+100 very excited for these new schools and all involved. I wish I could talk more of my "street car" high HP friends into going to a racing school.

Glad to read the good news about BR.
I will be in Florida, staying near PBIR in early March with some flexibility and can overlap with the early March Bertil Roos programs.
Was wondering which would be appropriate for me (if any).
No racing goals, just continued DEs and self improvement.
I have several years and perhaps 25 DE track days plus quite a bit of AX.
I've been running in Blue for a year and am probably ready for white, but have been running blue due to logistics with a shared car.

Thoughts? Recommendations?
