Default Dinner With Racers

Just stumbled across a fun podcast series called "Dinner With Racers," in which Acura factory driver Ryan Eversley and media guy Sean Heckman interview various sports car racers over a meal. It's in its third season now, and there are a ton of podcasts on the website, ranging from David Hobbs to the fun-loving Taylor brothers. Some interviews are better than others, but it's worth a listen while running/working out or commuting in the car. I see that rennlister MJR911 has mentioned the series in a couple of posts, so some of you may be aware of it.

I finished the Johnny O'Connell podcast tonight. It's a highlight--lots of great racing stories, and he manages to somehow be charmingly cocky and self-deprecating at the same time. Really fun listen. Enjoy.

I listened to a ton of these on my drive from Houston to VIR and WGI and back. Very good podcasts IMO.

You're two years behind! I'm anxiously waiting for season 3 to drop. The Whittington and Lanier shows were awesome.

They haven't had anything new in a while. I dropped the podcast. When are the new ones supposed to come out?

Their format is once a year post racing season. They drop them all at once. Netflix style.

Poopsocks was fantastic.

So was the Level-5 special episode with Jeff Braun.

They were all really good actually.

First part of season 3 released - looks to be an epic guest list shown at the end of the promo video

Hate the schoolboy giggling and the talking over the guests...but if you can get beyond that, it's a terrific series. Their website has some associated videos of horrific crashes.

Just got started on this in December of '17. There is some great stuff in there. Hobbs is a highlight, as is Mario Andretti, Lally, Legge, Level 5, Lynn St. James, Gill Campbell... I think my two favorites so far are Mario Andretti and Robin Miller.
