Brake Caliper Rebuild - stainless pistons vs. aluminum?

Thank you all for the testimonial.
Another word on high temp blue boots - These are specially made to handle the track applications under higher heat.
Hundreds of track enthusiasts were constantly frustrated by quick and consistent burning out on their OE or other aftermarket dust boots, and they simply gave up and left the dust boots uninstalled (based on some "track experts'" opinion)
As stated earlier these RB blue boots are made with high temp Silicon material, so they can protect the dust or foreign derbies, moisture, water etc. from entering the piston/cylinder, so rather than leave them un-attended, you should replace them with those blue boots to protect your calipers in order to keep your calipers in good shape and extend the life of calipers.
This picture below shows a caliper/piston between unprotected (w/burnt out standard boot) vs. protected (w/blue boot)

Thanks for the posts, RB.
I will be ordering a complete set of pistons, seals, and boots in the coming weeks. Brakes are part of the major chassis overhaul I'm doing this winter.
With the snow falling today I'll likely start taking the car apart this weekend or next, and will be ordering parts soon thereafter.

Ok just ordered two sets (one for front, one for rear).
Fingers crossed they get here before the holiday weekend... I'll burn some of my time off doing the rebuild.

I opted for the silicone dust boots too - since the dust boots are all missing/vaporized on mine currently.

I finally got to my brake caliper rebuilt w/ the RB stainless pistons on my 996 C2 calipers. The only issue I have is one (so four total) of the piston sizes on the front calipers (36mm) is a bit tight in the bore. Comparing diameters the RB pistons are about 0.01-0.02mm larger in diameter than the original brembo pistons in this size. It does go in, but I cannot slide it in and out with my fingers like I can with all the others, I can only get a little movement on it (currently fully seated).
While it might be fine should I be worried about it dragging? I could run the stock pistons at this location and the RB at all the others. I am doing this in my garage with the temperature at about 64 degrees so I guess when hot they might improve, or get worse LOL. Thoughts?

Considering this rebuild as well. In for updates.

I did talk with RacingBrake today. They said their SS pistons are made about 0.01mm larger as it will still fit in an unworn bore but also allows for some bore wear as these are generally installed in used calipers.
They all went in with hand pressure for me...just the smaller pistons on the fronts were tighter than all the others. I have the completed brake calipers all back on the car now and bled. I have not driven yet (still working on finishing the suspension and alignment) but I did some "standing" on the brake pedal and saw no issues with pressure, feel, or release of the calipers.
